So school is going great and everything seems to be falling into place. I would think that those things being so would make me feel at ease. But I don't. I just kinda feel like I am going along in life right now, and nothing seems to ever slow down. I am not saying that I am not happy, there are some things that make me happy but other things leave me feeling sad and regretful. Should that be okay? I feel like its okay. I dont know though, I wish sometimes that I didn't do what I did, but I did and that is okay because its just a choice that I made, If I was wrong then I will have to find a way to fix that if that is at all possible.

Anyway. I am trying to meet people, its working out nicely.I got a new phone, but not a new number.

I find myself missing people from highschool, and the familarites of highschool.

I wanna know more people. I want to do more things. I want to have a ton of friends. I want to be involved.

So I knwo that I hardly ever write on here, and I haven't in a long time, but I just really have so much going on in my life that I want to. And I have a little free time right now, so its okay.

College.. WOW. Its all so amazing, I am moving so quickly through life, and I am so excited about all of it. I am meeting new people everyday, everyone is so open and wiling to share details about their life. I am meeting a lot of people that like the same kind of things that I do so that is nice. I am loving it here. But it still doesn't feel that real, it still feels like I am going to be going home at the end of the week. It feels like I am on vacation or at camp or something. I like it but I wonder what its going to feel like when it finally hits me that I am here for 10 months.

So I love my roomate, she is really awesome. She reminds me a lot of Kristina Muscutt. I am getting along really nicely with her, we have a lot of the same music taste and a lot of everything the same. I am happy with that.

So my room. AMAZING. An upperclassmen told me that it was the best room on campus excluding the apartments. All the college stories that I heard before coming were about bad roomates and small dorm rooms, but my roomate and I are getting along great and I am so pleased with my room. Like I wil have to take pictures or something. Maybe you could come visit me and see it for yourself. Its amazing. I am lucky to have gotten the room that I got.

I registar for classes on tuesday. Its really soon. I am nervous becuase I have no idea what to expect. And I talked to my advisor and I decided that I am going to take spanish. I think that it would be a good idea considering the field that I want to go into and the fact that in our life span the minorite is to shift from whites and everyone else, to hispanics and everyone else. I don't mean to clump everyone together like that, and I am not racist. I just am saying that I think it would be a good idea to learn spanish. I could communicate with a larger percentage of people that way.

I love the campus. It's so beautiful. I really like it here. I was afraid that I wouldn't fit in. But I do. Haha. funny thing, I even saw 1 boy wearing girl pants. It was pretty funny. Cause my roomate was like see thats the kinda guy that the girl that you remind me of likes. And I was like hmmm... interesting. But yeah.

Well I have a lot to do today, and I have to go shopping with carly (my roomate).

good news everyone, as I said in my subject. I have good news.

I picked a school... I am going to Linfield.

I think that it will be a lot of fun and they have a really awesome program for students majoring in communications. I realize some people... don't even know that I was thinking about school, and some have no idea what it is I want to major in, and hopefully do with my life. Sad. I like having people know. But yeah I am excited today I am sending my papers to OSU, Lewis and Clark, Reed, U of O, U of W, and Willamatte to tell them that I am going to Linfield, I can't tell Linfield yet, cause I need to send the $400 fee with my acceptance of well acceptance, and I don't have that kind of money now, I think that my Dad is going to pay for it, I think he is going to pay with it with his tax return. I think that would be nice, oh so nice. I hope things work out well cause well I want them too and as of right now my stress level pertaining to college is about as low as it can be. I like that feeling. I am excited to live there too. If you want you can see this place I will be living for the next 4 years. (www.linfield.edu)

So I didn't post in here that I got a job. I did!! I got a job working at the Safeway in Albany, a lot of people from school already know but I know not everyone who reads this I talk to at school, or they don't even go here. It had nothing to do with my Grandma either, I just applied like anyone else would have and I didn't use anyone affliated with Safeway as a reference, I think that I did a good job, I am just that awesome.. hehe. I will be going to my first training session tonight, I am excited. The dress code sucks though, Ashli you think yours is bad, I have to wear black pants, and black shoes, black socks ( no matter if you can see them or not, supposedly there are going to be random checks, Scott my cousins boyfriend works at the Albany store and he said that they have already had one ), then I have to wear a white button up shirt and it has to be buttoned to the VERY top button, and to top it all off I have to wear a tie, or a scarf thingy, you know those ones that come in all sorts of pretty colors and patterns, or I could wear a ribbon bow tie or I could even wear a brooch. Haaha. Its great. But if I buy one of the new company shirts which are short sleeve like that greenish brownish kakhi color in camo, then I can wear that and the top button can be unbuttoned. My shirt has to be tucked in AT ALL TIMES NO MATTER WHAT. I am allowed to wear skirts that are at the minimum 1 inch from the top of my knee, but how often do you seee people working at safeway in a skirt, I will though cause pants are annoying and I am checking so its a lot better not as much bending over and stuff as being a courtesy clerk. I am glad and I think that I will wear a skirt once and a while, first I need a couple paychecks so that I can get one.

So I am going to prom, I don't have a date though and I really don't have a group of people to go with either, I am sure that I could though. I was thinking about asking Janet and Jackie what they are doing, but maybe I will just go with Nataile and her group I don't know. But I figured out my dress situation. I am making it. I designed it, well really close to it, I had to make some adjustments to my original design, I did it in Fashion Design 1, so I am really excited about that, its going to be black and red, dress black, with red other stuff on it. Haha. I will be sure to post pictures and what not of it on here so that you all can see the transformation. I think that will be really really cool, I'll brag about my cute design haha.

Well this is getting long and class lets out at 1:58 and I have people that I want to see. I am going home at 2:15 so that I can change into my work clothes and then go downtown to mail some things for the colleges that I wont be going to and then also some papers to the school that I will be going to. then head on my way to Albany, I will be taking the Goltra Rd. turnoff if anyone cares. haha.

The people there seemed so nice today.

I really like the campus and the residence halls all have pretty gracious room space. I wouldn't mind living in any of them, I think that I want to live in the Coed Halls though because well obvious reasons. I wouldn't want to live in one that has all girls.

I dunno I guess I will see how my visit at Lewis and Clark goes, and see what the re-adjusted stuff looks like after I send some paperwork back the lady in the office of financial aid said that I have a good cahnce of getting even more "free aid" from them becuase of my situation. And next year I get more becuase the EFC will go down. I am happy for this. I guess maybe that means I have a chance to go to Lewis and Clark.

But the good thing about Linfield is that I like the campus a lot which I can't say for U of O, and of course I have no idea about the Lewis and Clark campus yet. But the loctaion is way better than I thought it would be. I like it.... Its nice that Portland is only like 30 min away... I could even work there and commute everyday, and it wouldnt be that bad. I think that the reason I like it being just a short distance away is because its like if I lived there then I would have that distraction whereas if I were to go to Linfield its just the option of going, but I still am a little worried about moeny for both Linfield and Lewis and Clark.

I sat in on a Physciology class today and I loved it, it was small and intimate. The professer was astonishing, his voice was great andI could listen to him, it was just like any class he teaches. They didn't do anything special becuase I was there, but I really enjoyed the discussion. He talked about Plato and Laozi, and everything was just so interesting.

When he talked about Plato and The Republic and the ideas expessed in it. He was talking about the philosophy of Plato and I found it awesome, since Plato was an idealist he thought that the idea of an object is more real than the manifestation of that object. So like the idea of a chair is more real than the chair itself. Its beautiful.

Then he went on and talked about the 4 virtues that Plato belived were necessary to achieve harmony in a soceity, and also conditions and what makes a leader. So there is wisdom, which everyone has, but to be complete in wisdom and rare, few people acheive it, little lone strive to acheive it. Then there was Courage, the willingness to do whatever without worrying about the circumstances that will have to be made, and the people that did this were considered Men of Silver. Then there was temperance, which is the balance of having what you want and what you need, because if you indulge in something too much your not going to want it and if you dont have it at all your still going to want it, so men who achived this were called Men of Bronze. And then the 4th virture was Justice which is like all of them coming together.

When he talked about Laozi, it wasn't as interesting. But I retained a little, he was talking about the daodejing and daoism and all the things that they belived, the most intresting one I thought was the one where there was an equilibrium between matter and force. Like say if you were talking to someone and they were just really easy to talk to, they have allowed you to be who you are and be what you want to be through the flow of words, and all they havent really done anything besides let you be yourself, same idea of the whole equal balance of matter and force.

So this is probably really boring, but oh well its my journal and I wanted to take the time to type that out so yeah.

Maybe I will go there, and take those courses in physciology.

So basically a really good day. I enjoyed the time with my mom and everything. I got a sweathsirt there, its nice it says " Ultimate Frisbee" on it. I like it. I had lunch there too, I had a chicken burrito that was really good, and my mom had a pepperoni calazone that was good too, we shared. We sat down with these resident hall advisor people and they were so nice, they talked about schools and stuff. There was this guy Jay there, he was one of the nicest people EVER.

I had a great day.

I had a fab day watching spiderman 2 and riding my unicycle. my sisters friends were over, tyler and amber. tyler and i watched spiderman 2 cause we both had not seen it yet. it was good times. oH and i am going to go see them play in april thats so exciting cause i really wanted to be able to see them sometimes and so i am going to go early and help them set up and stuff like that, it really makes me want to dance.

So I decided that I want to change my apperance. I am tred of how I look, I am sure that other people are as well tired of it. I am thinking of dying my hair, something I said I wouldn't do cause it would be just like everyone else, but i decided that I want to. And it has to be darker, cause lighter wouldn't make sense. So darker it is. I am excited for that. Maybe i wont change the colr completely just get a lot of colors added...that might be fun. I think that would be fun.

I am reading this amazing book right now, I love it much. Its called Sombrero Fallout its written by Richard Brautigan. It makes me so happy to read his books.

I am happy that tegan and sara exsist there music makes me want to jump and spin in those circles that little kids spin in until they fall down so dizzy that the world keeps spinning as they lay there gripping the still ground. I like that kind of music. I like that feeling. I miss spinning in circles. Yesterday while I was in class it was a nice day outside, and I heard some people singing, I looked out the window and I saw a group of people out there dancing in a circle. They were holding hands. They were singing. They were falling about. They were clapping there hands. It was fun to see that people were doing that. Victor was there with them. It was adorable. He is so cute. I love his jeans, and his hair.

I see myself in this circle, trying to get out but always wind up back in this stupid circle. I want out so badely, but i can't seem to find that one place that I get out, that I get out and move on...away from the circle. I decided today that I am going to talk to Sarah about this problem, its not often that I go to people for problems because I don't...but I am glad that we have been talking more, and i really relate with her. We might be roomates at the University of Oregon. That would be really really exciting. I have 4 really cute bowls that we can have in there, though there are not any cubbards for bowls, I would like to have them. We can even put a fridge in there, then we could have milk, and bowls can go on a shelf and we can put cereal on that same shelf and then we can have a reason for the bowls...maybe thats asking a lot though. Who knows?

Well I will see you all later I have to make an appointment and then I am off to my next period class.

So the show last night was amazing. I loved it so much. I had a really good time with everyone too. I met Samantha Peirce, shes really nice. I am glad that I went with who I went with instead of going with Danny and BJ, I saw them though so that was nice. It was so much fun there was like 30 people from lebanon there and we somehow all ended up at the front, for every band. I really enjoyed myself. I met this kid there he gave me his phonenumber for some reason, strange but yes true. I had a lovely lovely time. I need to find another show to go to soon, becuase it was amazing, I haven't been in so long.
It was kinda sad that Motion City Soundtrack couldnt play their real stuff but had to do an acoustic set instead, because of a family emergancy and all but it was still so amazing to hear them sing the stuff live, i love them so much. I am definatly going whn they come back in june.
I deceided that I am going to apply to linfield college. I think it would be cool to go there. None of my SAT or ACT scores have been sent there, but I still think that it would be fun.
So I just did that, thats all set, need to fill out my school report thingy, send that in and im good to go. Hopefully I get accepted.
So I am going to my dads today, I am looking forward to seeing him, haven't seen him since like christmas or whatever. And he moved..... AGAIN.

I really did have an awesome time last night, best time I have had in a long time. I hope to get some pictures when the other girls get thiers back. OH and that really hot foreign exchange student was there, victor, i didn't expect to see him there, he came with david and davids sister and her friend. I thought it was so much fun with everyone from lebanon there, at first I thought it was going to be kinda dumb but no, I liked it we all helped each other out in the mosh, tristin was sticking gum in the crowd surfers hair, it was crazy.

I got a shirt and some pins, and I some stickers. I got some for sean.

I been wearing my rainboots a lot lately. <33
